{magnolias}

I am so tickled that my magnolia tree finally is full of flowers! It makes my heart happy. I love spring!!!

We planted our tree in spring of 2006. So of course, no flowers that year. 2007--no flowers. 2008--still no flowers. 2009--a total of 3 flowers! I was excited then. So this year I expected...maybe, hopefully 10 flowers? 2010--I'm counting at least 40 flowers!

I took Mylie out last night (she was more than willing) to take some pictures by my tree...especially before this next storm comes by and blows them all away.

Let's just say...I love my Magnolia Tree, but I especially love my Mylie.

I love magnolia trees. Yours is beautiful. I didn't know it took so long to bloom. I can't believe how big Mylie is. She is so pretty!

I am so happy that the trees did not freeze this year and we have flowers. Even Ambers is blooming well this year. Dad told them that they should try to dig it up and take it with them. The girls want to but Dan said no. I just hope that who ever buys their house that they do not get rid of it. I checked my garden book and it has been 12 years since we planted ours. The flowers are to many to count now. I LOVE my magnolia tree.

Your pics made me want a magnolia tree. It is so pretty! Our cherry tree has a ton of blossoms on it and Sage loves looking at it and singing the "Popcorn Song." I love Mylie's outfit! Stinking cute.

So much for all the 100's of flowers on the magnolia tree the hail ripped them to shreds yesterday along with all of the tulips and dafodils. Wait all spring and them BAM their gone in an instant. i am so sad but hey at least the houses did not flood.

Love Mom:(
