Somehow I forgot the rest of my post for the Fourth of July 2016 (once again these pictures are from a year ago). We had fun getting dressed in our festive attire, and having a quick BBQ with Russ's family before heading out to the fireworks.
This is Nora with her cousin, Abby.
Bennett is all-American. He LOVES a good cheeseburger.
We love our annual family breakfast and swimming on the Fourth of July! It is such a fun tradition that we all look forward to so much each year! The food is wonderful, and it is so fun to visit and catch up with extended family. I am so grateful to my aunt and uncle who host each year and make it such a fun day!
Here is a look at some pictures from 2016. (I am currently a year behind on this blog! So even though this is getting published in July of 2017, the pictures are from the previous year.)
I love fun summer nights outside! We got a badminton set this year for Russell for Father's Day. We had a great time playing as a family. It is fun to teach the kids new things and watch them experience things I loved as a child. Growing up, I loved to play Badminton with my cousins at my Grandma's house. We mostly liked to see how many times we could hit the birdie back and forth without letting it touch the ground. It was always a highlight of my summer!
During Spring Break in April 2016, we visited one of our favorite places: The Zoo! It was really fun because we were able to go with my brother Patrick's family and my mom, who brought Davis along as well!
The kids get excited when Grandma brings the little animal bottles with punch in them!
It is always fun to dress my kids up for Easter Sunday. They truly are the greatest blessings in my life (along with my wonderful husband, of course, whom sadly I didn't get any pictures of this year.)
I've been married to Russell for 15 years. We've been blessed with four beautiful children! I absolutely love being a mom and spending time with my family every day. I take way too many pictures because time just goes by way too fast and I love capturing all those special, fleeting moments!
